OCIA - Order of Christian Initiation

(formerly RCIA) Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults

The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults is a process by which adults are welcomed into the Catholic Church through a journey of faith formation, study, prayer, and participation in the liturgical life of the Church.  A group of interested adults engage in conversation, ask questions, discuss issues, break open the Word, and learn about the Catholic Church’s history, symbols, and beliefs.  They then fully enter into the period of enlightenment as they prepare for their initiation into the church during the Easter Vigil. If you are interested in joining OCIA, or know someone who might be, please contact the church office at 704-825-9600 or email secretary@queenoftheapostles.org.
