Community Ministries Commission
Community Ministries Commission
Helping others in need is very important here at Queen of the Apostles. Community Ministry is one of our commissions dedicated to finding opportunities and working hard to supply the means to offer help. Several ministries fall under this umbrella such as Feed the Needy, Respect Life, Rosary Makers, and many other important ministries. One way you can be part is to continue to support the once-a-month collection of non-perishable items that are donated to organizations. To learn about others ways, you can help make a difference, please contact Tricia Ryan by email.
Education and Formation Commission
Education and Formation Commission
Queen of the Apostles Church has always tried to meet the educational needs of the parish. We are an active and growing parish with similar needs. The goal of this commission is for parishioners to assist the Director of Family and Youth Discipleship in identifying, developing, promoting, and evaluating all parish activities related to education and formation. Please prayerfully consider being a part of this developing, vital ministry. Contact Anthony Beauregard by email.
Evangelization & Communication
Evangelization & Communication
"Our mission is to provide assistance in communicating information to the church and local community regarding special events and other items of interest." If you are committed to helping others to discover the Good News of our parish, please contact the parish office.
Finance Council
Finance Council
Each ministry and program here at Queen of the Apostles often needs money and a budget. Our finance council is responsible for assisting the pastor in making sure that the parish's mission of worship, education, fellowship, and outreach has the funds to operate smoothly. They also assist the pastor in planning and accounting of both income and expenditures of parish finances. Our finance council chairperson is Charlie Boyd. More Information and past financials can be found here.

On Monday mornings, we have a dedicated group of volunteers who gather early to tabulate the weekend's offertory collections. Three to four individuals count and deposit the offerings and provide data for our business manager. Alison Nolting schedules the calendars monthly and most are assigned a week or two at most. She can be reached by email.
Liturgy and Worship Commission
Liturgy and Worship Commission
People can be heard talking about the wonderful Masses at Queen of the Apostles - the music, the decorations, the homily, and more. Great liturgies are partly the result of our hard-working Liturgy and Worship Commission. This group, which includes the heads of liturgical ministries such as lectors, altar servers, arts and environment, and extraordinary ministers of holy communion, and other volunteers, meets to plan, evaluate and assess all liturgy celebrations. Their goal is simple: to help us have the best liturgies we can! Contact Tom Calabro by email for more information.
Parish Pastoral Council
Parish Pastoral Council
A group of parishioners meet once a month to advise the pastor and promote parish activity. The council prays, laughs, shares, discusses, plans, and coordinates life in the parish. The members strive to ensure that parish events promote not only the parish mission, but also the spiritual and social growth of all parish members. The members serve a term of three years and elect a leader from among their peers each year. If you are interested in being part of this ministry, please contact Father Paul at 704.825.9600. More information about current council members and past minutes can be found here.
